25 Days of Christmas Blog Hop

Hello Bloggers and welcome to 25 Days of Christmas. We will be posting for 25 days of Christmas all different ideas from Christmas cards, to gifts for kids, crafts for children to enjoy to even an ugly sweater. Come back each day to see what we do! Today is Day 7 of the hop and we are showcasing things you can make as presents!
Start with Dana-- http://Danascaftycorner.blogspot.com

We do a Secret Santa drawing at my work every year.  I like to make most of the gifts I give for this.  We usually write on a list what kind of candy/pop/hobbies etc. we like so it is a little easier for the person to come up with a gift.

I like to buy candy bars and make fun wrappers for them.  Here is a picture of what I made:

I hand drew his face etc. but you could use a face stamp if you wish. I also added a Santa hat that I got from Hobby Lobby.
          Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Christina

This is what Christina has decided to make for your idea gallery...

I am super Krazy about vinyl right now. I love HTV  (heat transfer vinyl), and regular vinyl for projects.
Some gifts I have given are wine bottles,T-shirts, Ornaments & cups with vinyl.  Here are a few things I have made recently as gifts:

Wine bottles are easy to make.
You can use just about any image
you wish.

You can also use the same images
on coffee cups, wine glasses or ornaments.
Just make sure to tell the person you are giving the gift to not to put it in the dish washer.

I love to make T-shirts too.  Here is a shirt I made for a friend for Thanksgiving:

As you can see I have used some of the same images several times for different types of projects.  I love to make homemade gifts. It's not as difficult as you think! I also like to use these gifts for office Secret Santa gifts. I used  my Cameo and some of the designs I got from the Silhouette store, some I have gotten from Facebook groups I'm in, and some I have traced myself. The possibilities are endless!!0 Thanks for stopping by my blog! Now go create something fun!!

I used some textured cardstock, inks, my I-Rock and jewels.  I have quite a few flowers and thought adding one looked pretty good.  I haven't decided if I am going to use it for a card or in my smash book.  Thanks for stopping by our hop!  ~~Christina

Hop along with us and see the things we like about fall and some of our fall projects.  Hope you get some fun ideas along the way.

Please leave us a little blog love along the way for a chance to win some blog candy.  Here is what you could win:

Wow we have had such a busy week at out house! It was my Birthday, and our Anniversary, plus we had parent teacher conferences.  Fall is a very busy time of year for us!  I love it!!

My most recent projects have been wine bottles.  I have really enjoyed making them!  The first two are ones I have made for either Birthday or wedding presents.
I used my Silhouette cameo to cut out the vinyl.  I used mini lights and ribbon on the inside of the bottles.

The next bottles I made for Halloween:

I created the witch face by tracing a coloring page and cut it out with vinyl. I painted the top of the bottle with black Krylon fusion spray paint.  I created the brim of the hat out of paper and hot glued it to the bottle. I added purple mini lights to one of the bottles and orange mini lights to the other one.  I also added ribbon wrapped around the lights and put them inside the bottles.  I used spider webbing and mini spiders to add a little extra to it.

End of Summer Highlights!!

I can't believe it is the end of summer!! Sunday is the first day of fall! I love fall! I am very excited for it!

It has been awhile since I have posted! Summer has been very busy at our house! How about yours?
I have been crafting a lot this summer! Here are just a few of my summer projects(I will post more of my projects another day):

I was on a roll with Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV).  I created some back to school shirts for my son and nephew.
We saw a few movies this summer. My son's favorite was Despicable Me 2!  We loved the Minions! So I created a Minion shirt for him.  For my nephew I created a Monster's University shirt.  I bought some printable vinyl and T-Shirts from Hobby Lobby.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the design.  I used my Heat Press (which I love!!) to press the designs on the shirt. Here is a picture:

I also have been loving making decorated wine bottles.  I made this one for a friend at work.  Her son is getting married next month.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the letters out of gold and teal vinyl.  I used battery operated lights, and ribbon to decorate the inside.  Here is a picture of it:

I also had a baby shower this summer and I created a couple of onsies for the new baby.  Using HTV, my cameo, and heat press. I created the No Label BBQ (the dad (to be) does BBQ competitions and needed a shirt design.) and the deer.  Here is the finished creations:

I hope you enjoyed my projects today! Thank you for stopping by! I hope you check back as I will try to keep my blog updated at least once a month with the projects that I have been working on. Have a great weekend!                                         ~~~Christina~~~

 I am so very excited! Summer for us this year is a new baby in the family!!
My brother and his wife have a new addition to their family.  A baby Girl!  She was born last Sunday!  They did not find out the sex of the baby until she was born... So I had to make my present after she was born. I bought the onsies while my sister in law was pregnant and tried to get colors that could be used for either sex.  I have a new heat press and I love it so much!  Most of my projects lately have been t-shirt related!   Today's project is also along those lines.

                        I created some onsies for my sweet niece.

My brother and sister in law live in Husker territory so I had to make a football related design. (this pattern I had gotten off of one of my fb groups I did not invent it I just used the pattern.) I love how it turned out!

The next one I made was a design off of the Silhouette website.  It is the cutest little bear! I did hand cut her bow and smile because I thought it needed a girly touch to it.

The last design I had also gotten from one of my fb groups.  I think this one is my favorite.  The necklace with her initial.  I think this design is so pretty!!

                                 Here is a picture of all three designs:

                          ~~~Christina~~~
Thank you so much for visiting my site!! Please don't forget to visit all the links to be entered in the drawing!
                  Hope you have a fun filled summer!!
Our Kreative Karma Blog Post Tuesday April 23rd
Our Kreative Karma
Hello everyone! I feel a weight has lifted! We made it through PROM!---
My Daughter had Prom over the weekend, and she had a great time. I am so relieved that we made it through it! I felt a little stressed! Finding the right dress, shoes, & accessories. Making sure the hair was perfect! It all turned out in the end!
It is a sure sign that spring is here when it is Prom season. (even if the weather doesn't cooperate!)
Then summer is right around the corner!!
For my project today I made this cute purse which hold tic tacs. They are such a cute gift!
I used a pattern that I had gotten from Creative Kuts: http://creativekuts.com/Tic-Tac-Candy-Purses-TT11513.htm
Please visit the Kreative Karma blog to see other fantastic projects by our very creative team!
Thank you for visiting my blog today!  Here are the pictures of the tic tac purse.  Have a great day!
 Hope if it was Prom weekend for you that everything went smoothly!
Monday April 14th Posting for Our Kreative Karma Blog
Our Kreative Karma
Happy Monday to everyone! I cannot believe how fast the weekend went! My oldest son is in culinary school and over the weekend he had a Gourmet Dinner event. It was fantastic!! Soon the kids will be out of school! My youngest is getting spring fever! Wanting to ride his bike outside and to color with sidewalk chalk.
I have been in a little creative slump! I think I too have spring fever and just want to get outside! I cannot seem to concentrate on my crafting!
For today's post I am going to share something I made awhile ago. I have such a difficult time making manly crafts! I had a co-worker request some decorative envelopes for gifts. One of which was for her son, the other two were for her daughters. Now while I had no problem creating the ones for the girls I found the one for the son a little more of a challenge. I asked her what each child (these were for grown children) interests were and went from there.
I used my cameo to find the designs that I liked then imported them the the Silhouette Studio and traced them and added my cut lines. On the manly one and the Eiffel Tower I used the cracked glass and let it dry. I used washi tape and ink on the star one.
                         Here is the (what I call) gift-a-lope I made for her son:
                                            Here are the gift-a-lope's that I made for her girls:
                      I hope you will visit Our Kreative Karma blog to see other great projects!
Sunshine, Smiles, & Summer Posting for Our Kreative Karma
Our Kreative Karma
Our theme this month for Our Kreative Karma is Sunshine, Smiles, & Summer!
I am so ready for some nice weather! I can't wait to get out into my flower beds and get them cleaned up!
I am really excited about today's post. I have been on a kick to use HTV (heat transfer vinyl). I have made quite a few shirts.
I made this one for my son who is in love with snails right now. I saved a coloring page to my computer then opened it up in my Silhouette program. Enlarged it, added cut lines and cut my vinyl. It was so easy! I used my heat press to adhere it to the shirt. He loved it!
I am going to try layering different colors next! Here is a picture of my project:
Thanks for stopping by!!                     ~~~Christina~~~
