Let's get this Monster Party started!

I have wanted to vinyl a pumpkin since last year! So I decided that is what I would do for my project.  I found a pattern off of one of the Facebook sites I am on.  I used my Cameo to cut it out of black vinyl.  It didn't want to stick a first but I had read online that if you used some heat to it that it would help it to stick to the pumpkin.  So I used my heat tool and it worked!!
Here is a picture of my project:

Mod Podge Blog Hop by The Krazy Crafting Crew!!

Welcome to our “Mod Podge Blog Hop”
Brought to you by our Krazy Crafting Crew. We are an independent hop team that enjoys
sharing out work with everyone and hope to inspire you with new ideas for you own
creativity. We are a team who loves to do all different themes, such as cards, layouts, 3D
projects and so much more. We do all the paper crafting from traditional to digital. Mostly
traditional, every now and then there may be a little mixed media too!

Now on to some fun.
Here is my project I have made for today’s hop:

I have been working like crazy to get all of my decorations made for my daughter's Graduation Party!!
It is next week and I am so not ready yet!!  For my project I decided I wanted to try to use one of her Senior Pictures and place it on canvas.  I have looked at a LOT of Pintrest boards on Mod Podge and canvas.  All I needed was a printed picture, a canvas, Mod Podge, & a sponge brush.  The first thing I did was to flip the picture over and put a generous amount of Mod Podge on the back of it. I then laid it down on the canvas.  It started to curl on the edges so I flipped the canvas with the picture over onto a piece of waxed paper then I laid a heavy pan on top of it. I let it dry for about an hour.  Next I layered on some thin coating of Mod Podge over the picture making sure to go in the same direction or it will dry funny. (that is what I read online)  I let it dry about 20 minutes between each layer.  I did 5 layers.  I wasn't very good about making sure all the bubbles were out when I first placed the picture on the canvas so my finished product has a few bubbles.  I plan on trying this again and hopefully I can do a little better next time.  Here are the pictures:

 It gives it a worn look.  I think it turned out pretty good for my first time!  I plan on using it on her sign in table.  Hope you like my project!   ~~~Christina~~

Here is my project I have made for today’s hop

 I purchased an inexpensive frame.  It started out as brass looking.  I had a picture of it but it got accidentally erased!
I used cracked glass and made a circular pattern all over the inside of the frame. I let it dry.
Next I used Stampin up white and brown craft pads to distress the frame.  I let it dry for a few days.
I made some small roses and hot glued them to the frame, I also added diamond stickles to it.
I used my silhouette and some thin cardboard to make the word: Sisters.  I added colored cardstock to the top of the cardboard word.  Here are the pictures:

layoutsketch cardSketch

I decided to go with the Card Sketch for my project today.  Usually I am a scrapper but I have been running low on my cards so I thought I would do that instead!
I used my Silhouette Cameo to make my own decorated squares, and my saying.  I love the print and cut feature!!  To make the squares pop I used some pop dots. I also inked the edges so they would stand out.  I got out a Martha Stewart punch to make my frame around my saying. I have so many cute punches that I neglect!  I also wanted a little bling so I used my I-rock and some heart jewels. I really love this tool!!  Here is my card:

Anything Goes! Blog Hop by the Krazy Crafting Crew

Here we are in a New Year and all new projects for the hop.
Today Robin Lane will be hosting from Create a Latte, with the New Year, "Anything Goes" would be a great way to start.
Do you like paper crafts, making cookies, crocheting or making pillows? Really anything goes for more fun and inspiration for us ladies who love to bake and do other things then paper crafts!

This is what I have prepared this for you:

Since today's theme is anything goes I decided that I would show you one more vinyl project!  Then I will go back to showing creations with paper!

Every year my Mom took us out to buy ornaments at Christmas time.  She passed away 4 years ago and money can be tight this time of year so I decided the last couple of years to make ornaments.
My oldest son is in Culinary School and this year I created an ornament that reflected that.
I used my Silhouette Cameo, black vinyl, square glass ornament, fake snow, ribbon, and a gold pen for this project.

A goal of mine this year is to try to work on my children's scrapbooks and my smash book more, and get my crafting/scrapbooking area organized! Do you have a crafting goal in mind for this year?? Or if you have any organizing tips I could really use some! Thanks for stopping by!!
                                  ~~~Christina~~~
Help us by making our teams resolution to gain followers and do a fantastic job for you that won't disappoint.
 We have a hop every first Sunday of the month, and we will bring some kind of inspiring project with us!
Thank you for stopping by don't forget to hop the whole hop to see what we have going for you!
Blog lovin' can also win you some blog candy!
Your next stop will be with Jessi: www.mylifeinartsncrafts.blogspot.com
