Our theme this month for Our Kreative Karma is Sunshine, Smiles, & Summer!

I am so ready for some nice weather! I can't wait to get out into my flower beds and get them cleaned up!

I am really excited about today's post. I have been on a kick to use HTV (heat transfer vinyl). I have made quite a few shirts.

I made this one for my son who is in love with snails right now. I saved a coloring page to my computer then opened it up in my Silhouette program. Enlarged it, added cut lines and cut my vinyl. It was so easy! I used my heat press to adhere it to the shirt. He loved it!

I am going to try layering different colors next! Here is a picture of my project:

Our Kreative Karma---Saturday March 23rd

Hi everyone!  I know it has been awhile since I have posted! Lots of things happening at our house and I have had to take a little break.. I'm hoping to get back on track in the next couple of months!

Today I am posting for Our Kreative Karma.  We have such a wonderful group!  No stress, lots of fun!

The Easter Bunny has been working on some projects for next weekend.  I can hardly believe the Easter is next Sunday!!

I started with some large Easter Eggs that I purchased from Target.  I then used my cameo to design the kids' names and the polka dots that I cut out of vinyl.  Here is an example of one of the eggs that was made:

Our Kreative Karma Design Team Blog Post Feb.23rd

Hello everyone!  I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything.  I have had a lot happening in my life.  I had a death of a family member. I was admitted to the hospital 2 weeks ago and had to have surgery.  I am on the mend and trying to get back into the swing of things!

Today's post is about LOVE.  Well I LOVE all my friends and family! I love to make gifts for the people in my life. So I created this gift for one of my friends whom I love for her Birthday!

I bought reusable soap dispensers from Target.  I then cut various butterfly shapes from vinyl and my Cricut. I used this snow like 3-D stuff to create the clouds. I also made a tag for her gift.

Creative Kuts Design Team Post: Tea riffic Package

Happy Monday!  I have a great file that I want to share with you from the Creative Kuts Website.

I used the Digi stamp to create an invitation.  Using the cut and print feature on my Silhouette Cameo I colored the digi stamp and cut it out.  I cut an extra tea pot so I could make it stand out.
I used the file to also make a treat bag.  I cut out the girl server, and the Title.  Once again using the print and cut feature I cut out the serving tray,cupcakes,and tea pot.  I thought it would make a great party favor to go with the party invitation I created.

Monday Jan.14, 2013--Creative Kuts Design Team Post

I'm back!!  I had a little break during the Holiday's and now it's back to crafting!

I was still pretty crafty over the Holiday, just crafting for family and friends!

Today's projects are two cards I made using the Creative Kuts file Chinese New Year. For the Bear card I used the digi stamp version, I made her smaller with my printer to fit on the card.
I also made the dragon smaller using the silhouette cameo.  I used white paper for the eyes, hair bow and hair so I could use my makers to color it.

This is such a cute file! It has even more pieces to it so you can make a great scrapbook layout!

For my project I created a home decor present for my BFF. I took a bottle of wine (minus the wine :) some red & white ribbon, battery operated lights, and vinyl to make this project. First I cut out the split letter K out of black vinyl and my BFF's last name out of white vinyl using my Silhouette machine. Then I placed it on the bottle. Next I filled the bottle with red ribbon and lights. I made a bow for the top and added a red bead. I also had some dried picks from a previous projcet they were red and gold glittered and I stood them into the wine bottle. Here is a picture of my project.

Creative Kuts Design Team Post Thursday Dec. 13th

I love to make things for our Secret Santa exchange at work! Today I made a Santa with Candy Cane’s to give to my Secret Santa. This is one of the great new files from Creative Kuts! I also have the girl elf. Your can also get a Mrs. Clause, and a boy elf. The set is so cute! Even if you do not have any colored cardstock you can use this file. Just cut it out and color it with your markers! I used markers on the pants, belt, glasses, face/nose, and eyes. This is a great file for kids to make and color themselves! My son loves it!

The cancer I chose to do for the Hop is Kidney Cancer. 
It will be 3 years this December that my Mom lost her battle with kidney cancer.
It started for her with back pain.  She cleaned houses for a living and just thought her back was out of place.  She went to a chiropractor, they did x-rays and that was when it was discovered that she had kidney cancer.  She had surgery and did pretty well for a few years.  It started to spread thoughout her body and 3 years ago she passed away.
She was a great cook, loved to garden, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.  She is greatly missed every day!
I chose to make a layout in Honor of my Mom.  Her favorite Psalm is "Be still and know that I am God."  I was very happy that I was able to find a stamp with her favorite saying.

Creative Kuts Design Team Post Thursday Nov. 15th

A chill is in the air! Our weather in the area I live in has gotten colder!! I have been in the mood for stuffing, Turkey, and Cranberry sauce!! I can’t wait for Thanksgiving! All those wonderful smells, watching the parade! I love this time of year!

 

I decided to make place card settings for my post for today!

I started with the Creative Kuts file Guess-Whos coming to dinner.

The file prints off in a 8 1/2 x 11 form. I decided to shrink the file so I could cut the turkey out smaller. I used a font on my computer for the lettering, and some fall fibers that I had in my crafting stash.

 

I also printed it in it’s original format to make a scrapbook page of it too. We have relatives coming from out of town for Thanksgiving and I want to take some pictures.

I love to make Halloween pages.  Halloween will be here before you know it!  We are planning to carve pumpkins this weekend.  We usually wait because the weather around are area can change quickly.  It was 80 degrees just two days ago, and yesterday was 41 degrees.  We don't want our pumpkins rotting before Halloween. (been there and done that before)

Creative Kuts Design Team Post--Tuesday Oct.23rd

Hello!!  So glad you could come by my blog today!

I love a good sleep over!! I loved hosting sleep overs for my daughter!! Now she is a teenager and just has friends over without my help! 

I used the slumber party file to create this invitation. I added a back to the sleeping bag and just used adhesive down the sides only.  Next I cut a tag that would slide in and out.  I stamped Time, Place, Date, RSVP.  This is such a cute file! Aren't kids so cute when they are sleeping!! Here is a picture of the invitation:
