(for detailed directions on how I made my flower please view one of my earlier posts http://cema1cema.blogspot.com/2012/01/january-11-create-with-red-pink-green.html ) I cut the Frame from Fancy Frames Cartridge at 7".  I cut the word "Love" from the Cake Basics Cricut cartridge at 2"

My next project I used the Country Life cricut cartridge to make a card. I cut the sun and the cloud out at 2 1/2" and the "you are my sunshine" at 1/2".  I also used crystal, and yellow stickles.

Would you ever guess Wednesday--Use a Martha Stewart Cartridge

Happy Wednesday!!  Today is Would You Ever Guess Wednesday at My Cricut Craft Room! Today I chose to use a Martha Stewart Cartridge.  I chose Martha Stewart Seasonal Cakes.  It is the only Martha Stewart cartridge that I own.  Honestly it is the first time I have used it!!  I bought it because my son Graduates this year and he wants me to make his cake it has a Graduation hat on the cartridge.

I made a card today! Since Valentine's Day is coming up I decided to make a Valentine's Day card.  I also used various cardstock, ribbon, and a pop dot. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up! and so is the ink.  I cut the hearts out at 2 3/4".  I chose these hearts because I wanted to layer it and I liked the look of the heart that looks like lace.  Thanks for stoping by!  Please visit http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to check out the other Design Team's projects.

Scrapbook Friday-- using Purple!

Friday is one of my favorite days at My Cricut Craftroom!! It's Scrapbook Friday!! I love to make scrapbook pages!! I also love to see what kind of great scrapbook page ideas the rest of the design team has!!

Today I made an 8 x 8 scrapbook page.  I used a sheet of paper from DCWV the Crafty Stack, and some purple shiny paper from my stash and some patterned mulberry paper, gold stickles & a sentiment rub on.  I used the Fancy Frames and Sentimentals Cricut Cartridges.
I cut the butterfly out of the Sentimentals cartridge at 2 1/2".  I cut the shadow shapes first and traced it onto the mulberry paper.  I tried to cut the mulberry paper with the cricut.. Disaster!  So I scraped that idea.  Next I cut out the rest of the butterfly and stuck the mulberry paper wings onto the butterfly and added gold stickles to the body.  I cut the frame out at 3 1/2" and stuck it down, then added my rub on sentiment.

Hope you like how it turned out!  Please make sure to visit the other design team members blogs and see what great projects they have made!!  http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

January 19th--Valentine's Cuts

I love Valentine's Day!  I love the color combinations hot pink, light pink, black and purple together!!  Let's not forget the candy! I love the sugar coated cinnamon hearts, I have already bought a bag and eaten half of it!!
Today's project I used the Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge.  I saw the little dog cut with the heart over the eye and new I just had to use it!  I wanted to make some treat bags for my son's class and thought this cut would be great for it!  I cut the puppy's out at 3 1/2".  I struggled to find in my stash of cardstock some printed paper that looked like fur! (note to self look for paper that looks like fur the next time you are at a craft store!!)  I also used some fibers and ribbon to make collars for the puppies and some google eyes.

Sorry the lighting in my house is horrible for pictures especially at night!
I then decided I wanted to try making my own wobble card. I made the wobble by using my circle punch and some wire and tape.
Next I attached it to one of my pups and covered a card with some striped paper.  Added a sentiment from Stampin Up!
Sorry for the bad lighting and picture!

The video on how to make your own wobbles is on youtube.  It took a few tries but I think it looks pretty cute!

Please make sure to visit the other Design Team members projects at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com  There are some really great ideas for Valentine's Day!

January 18th "Celebrations"

PhotobucketI made this project for my son's 4th Birthday.  He simply loves Toy Story! I know we have seen each movie dozens of times!!  I still get a little teary when I watch Toy Story 3!!
I used various Stampin Up! Cardstock, black marker, red stickles and my Toy Story Cricut Cartridge.
I just love this cartridge!!

I cut Buzz out at fit to page and whatever size it was is what I used for his layers. (Sorry I forgot to write it down!) Next I made the baby alien with all his layers.  This project took a little time because I had never cut out something this complicated with so many layers.  I do like how it turned out! My little man loved it!! He still has it in his room as a decoration!  Thanks for taking a look! Please make sure to visit the other DT projects at: http://scrappyemt.blogspot.com !!

January 11 Create with Red, Pink, Green,& Yellow

PhotobucketI really love making flowers!!!  I created these flowers for a swap I was in. Once I got started it was really hard to stop!

I used the Mother's Day Bouquet cricut cartridge to make all of my flowers.  I don't remember which flowers I used but I tried using a few different ones.   I cut 3 of each size: 2", 1 1/2", and 1" per design.

Next I used my Stampin Up! ink pads to ink the edges of each flower cut. Then I used my hole punch and punched holes in the middle of all the flower sizes then used a brad to hold them all together.  Using a water bottle I sprayed the flower and crumpled each layer.  After the last layer was done I opened the flower and let it dry.  My last step was to add some touches of stickles to each flower.

This was such a fun process and I love how they turned out!!  Thanks for coming by and taking a look at my project!! Here is my friend Cassie's blog, I got some great inspiration from her flower tutorial

Tuesday-- Card day- Using the I-Top

My Cricut Craft Room Welcome back to my blog!! So glad you stopped by!!

It is card creating Tuesday over at My Cricut Craftroom's blog! Today's project was a challenge for me!!  I have had my I-top for awhile. I have not used it yet because I am a little confused on how to work it!! It took me a few trys but it finally worked.. I think I will make sure to watch the DVD that came with it!!

I used Mother's Day bouquet to create the flower I can't remember which flower I used. Then I colored the flower all over with the brush side of a Chocolate Chip Stampin Up! marker before I sprayed the flower with water and crumpled it up.  Then I uncrumpled it and let it dry.  I used paper from the Crafty Stack DCWV to cut the background of my card & the center of the flower. I cut the shape from the cardstock for the center of the flower and used the I-Top to create my own brad to use in the middle of the flower. I used a Stampin Up! sentiment stamp and the Chocolate Chip marker. (I didn't have the ink pad so I used the brush side of the marker).  I also used brown striped floss. I really like the look of the brown with the orange!  Please check out My Cricut Craftroom's blog for more great card ideas! http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

I am a new Design Team Member to Scrappy EMT!  I'm very excited to be a member of this design team! I have so many crafty ideas at the moment! I just hope I don't run out of ideas!!
For today's project were were asked to use our favorite cartridge and to show off our own style.  I'm not sure if I captured everything I love to do but I do like how my project turned out!

I love to scrapbook and have been scrapbooking for about 15 years.  My pages have gotten better over the years! I look back now at old scrapbooks and think wow not sure If I would sticker it up as much now as I did then!  I love to make gifts for friends and co-workers!  I use my Cricut a lot, I also love paper, glitter, beads, flowers and chalks! I look for new ideas constantly!

I used Forever Young which is my favorite cartridge along with Gypsy Wanderings and my gypsy.  I used some patterned paper from DCWV and Stampin Up! I also used grey thread and some grey/blue beads, and some sheer ribbon.

I cut my girl out of the Forever Young cartridge at 5".  I welded my letters together before cutting them out on my gypsy. I really love this feature!  They were cut a 2".  I strung the beads on to the thread to make a necklace. I really like the glittter paper I used for the dress! I used the ribbon around  her waist. I tried to keep the layout simple because I really don't want to take anything away from the pictures of my daughter in her dress!

I made this scrapbook page for my daughter who will be going to her Winter Formal next month.
Thanks for stopping by I hope you like my project!!  ~Christina~

I am a new full time Design team member for My Cricut Craft Room.  I am very excited to share projects with you during this up coming year!
For this project I used Pooh & Friends and Gypsy Wanderings font cartridges, stampin up papers and stickles, and ribbon from my craft supplies.  I cut both Pooh's out at 4" The lettering I cut out at 2 1/2".  After I layered the pooh I used stickles on his outfit to make it stand out.  This was my first attempt at a layering project.  It was done awhile ago and given to a friend of mine who had a baby.  I have gotten much better at layering as you will see in some of my other projects!  I really like to make scrapbook pages, you will probably see a lot of that from me! Erica's Craft Room's 25 Days of Christmas Day 15--Trees

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room

25 Days of Christmas,

with 25 Cricut projects a day.

Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....

and every day in December.

Our family really loves to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas every year. So today I thought I would make a card kind of based on the Christmas Tree in the show.    I used the Designer's Calendar Cricut Cartridge, Elements Paper Seasonal, Green Cardstock, and some mixed media buttons, & saying.  I wanted to keep it simple and use some of my mixed media stash.  Sorry the picture isn't very good, my lighting in my craftroom isn't the best. I hope you like the card!  I cut the tree on page 53 at 3 1/2".

Erica's Craft Room 25 Days Of Christmas! December 13th Penguins!

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room

25 Days of Christmas,

with 25 Cricut projects a day.

Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....

and every day in December.

Welcome back to my blog!! I so appreciate each and everyone who visits and comments on my blog! I'm so excited to get new followers!! THANK  YOU!
Today's project I used Jolly Holiday's and Winter Lace Cricut cartridges.  I was really excited about this project!  I bought this soap dispenser last year and knew what I wanted to with it.  My first time at trying vinyl on a project!  I also used my new favorite Glittering Snow by DecoArt
I cut the penguin from Jolly Holiday's at 4" using my gypsy to hide a few features.  I layered on the feet, nose and white inside body first then attached it to the black vinyl then placed it on the soap dispenser.  Next I added the "snow" with the Glittering Snow.  It has to dry 24 hours before you use the dispenser.  Next I cut the snowflakes out of the Winter Lace cartridge at 1".  Before I did my cuts I always cut it out on paper first to make sure the size will work with my project.  I used the paper  cuts to make a gift tag.  I like how it turned out!  Thanks for visiting! Hope it inspires you to create one of your own!      ♥♥ Christina ♥♥

Erica's Craft Room 25 Days of Christmas December 10

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room

25 Days of Christmas,

with 25 Cricut projects a day.

Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....

and every day in December.

If you can't tell I absolutely love to make scrapbook pages! Today's theme is Snow!
I used some printed snow paper that I had in my supplies, I used the Jolly Holiday's & Christmas Noel Cricut cartridges.  I used a new (new to me) product that I found at a craft store called Glittering Snow by Deco Art.  Now I am not sure if it is scrapbook safe that is why I only put it on my house where a picture would not be close to it.  It looks like sparkly snow!! I LOVE it!  I cut the house out of Jolly Holiday's @ 6".  I hand cut some of the snow and for the layers I cut several cuts from Christmas Noel at 3-4".  I chalked around the snow layers, glued them down and then added some stickles to make it pop.  I pained the Glittering Snow on the roof and window sills (it needs to dry for 24 hours).  I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Erica's Craft Room 25 Days of Christmas December 7th

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room

25 Days of Christmas,

with 25 Cricut projects a day.

Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....

and every day in December.

Hi!! Here is my project for today.  Warm Clothes is the theme.  I participate in a Secret Santa in myoffice and I thought I would combine the two.
I used the Hello Kitty Greetings cricut cartridge, printed paper & cardstock, google eyes, fibers,           a 2 liter bottle of pop and a gold pipe cleaner.

I cut the snowman on page 77 at 10 1/2".  The snowman's accessories were cut at 13 1/2".  I had cut them at 10 1/2 but for some reason it didn't fit well.  So I cut them out larger.  I glued everything down with zig 2 way glue.  I cut some green fibers and stuck them down with a glue dot. I used tape to  attach the snowman to the bottle of pop along with the gold pipe cleaner. I think this will make a great Secret Santa gift. Shhh don't tell anyone this is what I made! I wouldn't want the person I made it for to know!

Thanks for visiting me today!  Have a great day!!
