Friday August 3- My Cricut Craft Room Scrapbook Friday-- Movie Night Theme

                                                             Welcome Friday!!
Friday's are Scrapbook Friday at My Cricut Craftroom.  This week's theme I chose is Movie Night.
We love movies in our house and like to pop Popcorn and mix it with M & M's.  This is our special treat when we watch movies!

I used Mickey & Friends, Cricut lite Slumber Party & Carousel for my scrapbook page today.
I also used some M & M paper and Liquid Applique', hemp and my Gypsy.  Liquid Applique' is one of my favorite things to use.  I used it on the popcorn to make it "pop".

My Cricut Craftroom Scrapbook Friday--July 27th--Music

It has been unbelievably HOT here!!  We did finally get some rain on Wednesday night (YAY!).  Although I think that my flowers are just not going to snap out of it!

Today is Scrapbook Friday at My Cricut Craft Room and the theme I went with today was Music!

My Daughter is in the band at our High School and during the summer they march in several of the town parades in our area.  So I needed to really get going on these pictures... I also have to make another page for the concerts she had this past year.

I used Sponge Bob Square Pants, and my Gypsy and Gypsy Wandering cartridges today.  I got the clarinet image from Sponge Bob Square Pants (I was surprised too! Guess I forgot that he plays the clarinet).  My Daughter plays the clarinet and the trumphet.  The music notes and border I got from Gypsy Wanderings.  I take so many pictures I like to leave room for those, so if you are new to my site I don't do a whole lot of decorating on my pages.  I like to keep them simple for lots of pictures.

                                                                  ~Christina~

I don't know about you but it has been H O T here!! Yesterday my van said it was 101 outside.  UGH! We haven't had rain in a long time!!  Hope where ever you are today you are staying cool!
Here it is Friday already!  I love today's theme Swimming!
I used the Cricut cartridge H2O for today's scrapbook page.  My girlfriend and I have spent the last two weekends in our pool!  So I thought it would be great for a Smash book page!

I did some tearing of paper at the bottom of my page for the water, and some fibers for the straw in the drink.  My sentiment says: Day in the Sun. (which is on the H2O cartridge)

Melissa's Husband's Birthday Bash Blog Hop!!

Here is the blog button!

Welcome to a Surprise Birthday Bash for a fellow's Crafters Husband. His name is Chris Pinter who is turning 34 TODAY!!
First I want to say a big Happy Birthday!! To Melissa's husband Chris!  I hope you have a great Birthday!!

If  Jamie Lindstrom - http://www.jamielindstromdesigns.com sent you over for a visit then you are exctly where you are meant to be. If you just happen to be visiting then you should head over to pinkpolkadotscrapping: http://pinkpolkadotscrapping.blogspot.com  for the beginning of this fabulous hop!

This was so fun to do!!  I feel that Birthday's are soo important to celebrate! It is the day of your Birth!!  I like to go all out for Birthday's!  I make Birthday's a BIG deal! First you get to pick your Birthday breakfast, then a present.  Usually we do a party on the weekend and invite family and friends.  The Birthday boy or girl gets to pick their dinner and dessert.  We decorate with balloons, streamers etc.  I think my favorite Birthday's to celebrate are our October Birthday's.  (We have 6 of them!!)  I really hope you enjoy the projects today!

I used the Country Life and From My Kitchen Cricut cartridges to create this card for Chris.  I didn't like any of my paper that I had so I made my own using a Stampin up stamp and white ink.  I know it isn't a masculine card, I don't do very well at making masculine cards!
I just added a simple sentiment
                                                                   inside of the card

    My Cricut Craft Room's Scrapbook Friday--July 13th--Twilight

Here it is Friday again!  Happy Friday the 13th!! Might have to watch some scary movies tonight!!

I chose the Twilight theme for this week.  I really love movies and so today I made a "scrapbook" page for my smash book!
I purchased the smash book from My Cricut Craft Room because I have so few pictures, or information about me in my children's scrapbooks.  So I thought that if I made a smash book about me it would be fun.
I chose the Twilight theme because it is one of my favorite movies/books.  I wanted to make some pages about the movies that I have seen with my children.  I save all ticket stubs but of course when I wanted to make this page I couldn't find the Twilight series movie ticket stubs.  Well all but the most recent one.  Guess I will have to look in some old purses or billfolds to find the others!  I also want to make a Harry Potter page.  We loved the books and saw all the movies.
Ok enough about me on to my project!
I used the Happy Hauntings cartridge for the "I love Movies", and I used Teen Scene to create "Edward & Bella"  I would have to say the faces were a little hard to do!
Don't forget to stop by http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to check out the other scrapbook projects!

A year ago the blog was kicked off with the first design team members and daily postings. It took 2 months to get ready for this hop last year. Now we bring it to you the first full weekend of every month.

Collectively the design team uses over 100 different Cricut Cartridges in their projects during the two days of this hop. Sunday the new members of the design team will be announced and some have even made a project to share with you!! What an exciting weekend!!

As special treat enjoy 10% off of your total purchase with Erica's Craft Room Store.

Use the code JULY to see 10% off of your total purchase (No exclusions)

on July 7 & 8. Also on Sunday there will be an exciting announcement!!!

For my projects today I used a variety of cartridges.  I used Fabulous Finds, Pixar's Cars, Hannah Montana, Celebrations, Doodle Charm, Boys will be Boys, & Mother's Day Bouquet.

I had a friend ask me if I could make luggage tags for her family because they were all going on vacation.  Top get to where they were going the were going to have to ride on a plane. This is something I had never tried so I was excited to do it!

Some of the tags I used Fabulous Finds to make the tag feature. For the rest I used Celebrations Cricut cartridge for those tag features.
I used the Pixar's Cars cartridge for the peace sign. Hannah Montana cartridge for the heart, and the butterfly, music note, and guitar.  I used Doodle Charm for the lady bug, and Boys will be boys for the flying bug.  I used Mother's Day bouquet for the flower. On the back side of the tags I used a piece of white cardstock for the names, addresses and phone numbers.  My friend then laminated the tags and I put them on a ring and clasp that I found at Michaels. Here are the pictures of all the tags:

I have decided to mix it up a little! I know that I usually post on Scrapbook Friday's but this time I wanted to show something different!

I like to make treat bags and here is one that I have made.  I used the Cricut Cartridge Best Of Pixar.  I cut out Mike from Monster's Inc.  This cartridge is great and had a variety of different Pixar characters.

    Here are my Mike cuts:

Treat bag topper are so easy to make and I have found that kids love them! Here are the completed treat bags:

    Robin http://custom-comforts.blogspot.com/
    Tangee http://www.kricutkrazy.com/
    Blog Candy http://ericasblogcandy.blogspot.com/

I have decided to feature using Cricut to create shirt designs.  My first one I designed a onsie for a friend of mine as a baby gift.   I used Create a Critter cartridge to make the monkey and I also cut the monkey out of paper to use as a matching card. These really do make great homemade gifts! Her oldest loved it so much he wanted me to make him one too.

So for that T-Shirt I used the Turtle from Walk in my Garden Cricut Cartridge.  I also used a  s-e-i iron on art camo sheet. These sheets are great because they already have the iron on material on the fabric.  It was super easy to make this!  I also used the pattern to make him a tag for his scrapbook. He loved it!  I just love to make homemade gifts with my Cricut! Hope you liked my project!

My Cricut Craft Room Scrapbook Friday--Father/Son

Wow here it is another Friday, where did the week go??  Seems like the summer will be gone before you know it!

Today's theme for Scrapbook Friday that I chose was Father.  I made a scrapbook page for my husband.  Every year he celebrates Father's Day and his birthday.  It either falls on his birthday or a day or two before it.  I have decided I need to start adding my husband and myself to more of our children's scrapbooks!

I used Cricut Holiday Cakes cartridge to cut the "Happy Father's Day" saying.  I used the Martha Stewart's Seasonal Cake Art cartridge to cut the border.  I also stamped on the thin navy blue strip with white ink and a Stampin Up stamp.  I like to leave room for a few pictures.  I tend to at least use 3-4 pictures on a page.

Please visit the other great pages from the other design team ladies starting at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

Happy Friday!! Have a great weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's!

Today I have three projects for you!  For the first project I made cakes for my son's graduation party.  I used the Billionaire Lite Cricut Cartridge to make the lettering.  I then stuck it down on to waxed paper and frosted the back of the waxed paper to get it to stick on the cake.. Here is the picture:

For the next project I created a card using Love You A Latte Cricut Cartridge.  I used the "couple" cut out.  I also stamped "You Warm My Heart" on the outside of the card.  It was cut at 3"

For my Last project I chose the Cricut Cartridge Carousel.  Now I have been seeing online on different blogs people have been posting the mini cricut going places.  I think it was a challenge in the Cricut Circle.  I don't have a mini cricut but I do have a plushie.  So I decided he needed to go to the Circus!  I created a tent, an elephant and cotton candy using this cartridge.  It was fun!

If you have been following some of my posts I have a 2 page Graduation layout done for my son.
